Please note that freight on lost or damaged consignments remains payable, as a pre-requisite for claims to be credited. The maximum claim per unit of goods is $2000 including GST. Claims must be made within 6 months of loss.

Notes: Please be aware that the Carriers liability ends with a clean POD (signature). Writing "STC" or similar on the POD is of no legal effect. The use of infra-red temperature measuring devices invalidates any claim for temperature. Only properly used and calibrated probe thermometers are adequate for correct temperature measurement of product as opposed to air or packaging. The goods claimed become the property of the Carrier from when any claim is accepted. Please refer to our Freight Rules and our Standard

for further details. Where our driver is asked to sign the POD or delivers to unattended premises then this is considered to be a valid POD.
